Ever needed a planar head reference that is very light so you can easily use it in any software and on any device without worrying about performance? Forget about stutters, hitches and lag that happen with 3D scanned models, and use this model as a reference from now on.

This planar head reference is inspired by popular "asaro head" used in illustration, concept art and sculpting as a reference for the planes of the head. I created it in mind with artists who find the official materials too pricy, but are eager to learn fundamentals and improve their skills. This retopologized sculpt is just 395 verts / 322 faces / 790 tris in size!

You can simulate any light scenario in couple clicks, with basic knowledge of blender. This will help you create realistic light references, whether you're going for a dramatic catchy visuals or the soft ones.

Caution for 3D Artists: This is not a game-ready model, nor one adhering to widely accepted retopology standards. It leans on N-gons in order to bring an experience closer to manipulating an actual sculpture, not a game model, for the sake of reproducing more of an art creation reference. You can, however, remesh it quite easily. For tris-only version, use glTF file included. Images taken with eevee.
